An opportunity has opened for an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse to join a specialist community healthcare team covering part of Belfast. This role offers the unique chance to deliver oncology care in a more personal setting—patients’ own homes—while enjoying a more autonomous and flexible schedule.

You’ll be part of a well-supported clinical team but work independently day-to-day, giving you variety and professional freedom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and supportive treatments safely in patients’ homes
• Monitor patients for side effects and respond to clinical needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and care records
• Communicate effectively with the wider MDT and external healthcare professionals
• Promote patient confidence and comfort throughout their treatment journey

Requirements:

• Active NMC registration (RGN)
• Minimum 6 months recent experience administering chemotherapy
• Competence in central venous access devices (PICC, Portacath, etc.)
