Unit Manager (Nursing Home)

£22.50 per hour + Paid Breaks
36 Hours per Week | Permanent Position

A well-established care home in the Manchester area is seeking a Unit Manager to lead a specialist nursing unit. This role is perfect for a confident senior nurse ready to take on added responsibility or an experienced Unit Manager seeking a new opportunity.

As Unit Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of care delivery on your unit, manage a multidisciplinary team, and work to uphold the highest standards of safety, compassion, and clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and develop your team to deliver excellent care
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance
• Manage medication rounds and clinical audits
• Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and independence for all residents
• Build strong relationships with residents’ families and healthcare partners

Requirements:

• Active NMC registration (RGN or RMN)
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial nursing role
• Excellent clinical knowledge and leadership ability
• A proactive and organised approach to problem-solving and care planning
